HOW
do you play?
Pool Pool is a game of Pool FOR
YOUR POOL!!
It's really that simple. Several incarnations of standard billard games
can be played. Ultimately, you make up your OWN rules, but here's a
standard starter.
Standard
game of "8
Ball”:
- To
break? CANNONBALL!
- Throw
the cue ball at the
other balls to "shoot".
- Shots
must be taken from
wherever the cue ball lies...
even in the deep end!
- ALL
shots must be called. No
"slop shots". Throw the cue
ball at the called ball to "shoot".
- If
the cue ball hits the
ball called, it's a "pocket",
and that ball is removed from play. The player then gets another shot.
- If
the player misses the
called ball or hits another ball first with
out calling the "combination", it's considered a miss, and a new player
gets a turn.
- If
the cue ball bounces out
of the pool, it's a
"Scratch", and a new player gets a turn and can shoot from anywhere in
the pool! (You don't wanna scratch!)
Play
until all your balls
are "pocketed". Sink the 8
Ball, and you WIN!
IT'S
THAT SIMPLE!
Try
some other variations...
Allow other players to splash while you're taking a shot. They can make
all the waves they can muster, but CAN NOT touch the balls in play!
Try a game of "9 Ball" for a serious challenge.
Ultimately, YOU decide how to play Pool Pool. And why limit Pool Pool
to JUST your Pool? Try it on the front lawn! It's as green as the felt
of a fine billiard table! Or
the beach? Or even just your living room
carpet! It's ALL FAIR GAME!
